Dynamite Bait Festival - Day 2

Dynamite Bait Festival

The festival got off to a good start and we could only hope for a repeat performance from today’s fishing, unfortunately the weather has taken a bit of a bad turn and the rain is back with a vengeance!

A Section Twin Oaks/Trelawney

Great weights of the low numbers on Twin Oaks today and although the high numbers did not fish as well than the previous day the results were close, the weights on Trelawney are not quite competing with Twin Oaks but there was an overall improvement. Nick Speed weighed in with 102lb 11oz to take second, Nick was on Twin Oaks peg 14 and caught on the method in the early part of the match then switched to the short pole with meat for the last two hours. The rain looks set to be in for the rest of the week which is not the best of the news for the anglers but the show must go on, can anyone in the top spot achieve another perfect result, we reach the mid-way point of the festival tomorrow and some will be hoping for a bit more luck at the draw bag. Join us tomorrow for the latest update.

Cheers, Kirsty
